Margit Rüdiger is internationally known as "The Voice of Beauty." She is one of the most renowned journalists in the field of beauty, anti-aging, and aesthetics. Her career path led her through the editorial offices of the most important fashion magazines in Germany such as Vogue, Elle, Madame, Bunte, Freundin, Brigitte, Marie Claire, and Esquire.
Due to this expertise and passion, her path led only as a logical consequence to Doctor Mi!, to bring the groundbreaking philosophy of our TECMi® Retinol skincare to the world.
Passion for writing and enthusiasm for medicine
Her many years of experience and the numerous exciting stages in her life give her unbeatable know-how, which she gladly shares as a journalist, because she discovered her passion for writing back in school. Although she always wanted to become a doctor, her love for words prevailed. This led to the motivation to combine both and become a medical journalist.
Aesthetics as a journalistic focus
The then editor-in-chief of "Madame" almost pushed her to delve deeper into the spectrum of plastic-aesthetic surgery. A topic she wanted to greatly expand in her magazine—with the young Margit by her side. Thus, Margit became an expert in cosmetic surgery, and aesthetics became her journalistic focus, to which she later dedicated countless articles and many books.
Career as the most important and prominent beauty editor
Since skin is an important aspect in medicine, beauty soon gained more and more importance in her field of work. "Whoever can write about medicine can also write about beauty," was the saying in the editorial offices for which she worked as a freelance author. Her career as Germany's most important and prominent beauty editor began - from then on, she wrote about beauty products and makeup, but also about innovative treatments and device-based cosmetics. The future "Germany's Voice of Beauty" was born.

In articles, special issues, books, and also brochures for the beauty industry, Margit has since shared her expert knowledge. Along the way, she developed the customer magazine for Douglas with an agency, coached doctors on PR, and taught PR people how to write texts.

As Beauty Director of the Beauty Department at InStyle, she significantly shaped women's opinions on beauty until 2016, when she moved to the beauty and lifestyle magazine Flair as editor. But Margit Rüdiger would not be the beauty icon and strong businesswoman we know if she didn't always take one step further: because in 2018 she also founded the well-known blogazine cultureandcream.com.
